The tool will will help developers attain standards for a green building in South Africa. Douglas says, it provides a definition as to what goes into a green building, it breaks down different categories from energy and water efficiencies, effects on transport, internal environmental quality and others.

Rick Fedrizzi, Head of the US Green Building Council, says the sector of environmentally friendly initiatives can create at least 40 million jobs around the world by 2030. WOW, just imagine what that will do to the economy!
