Fresh Organics {Review & GiveAway}

by admin

Fresh Organics Inc., an eco-product and organic skin car company, believes “every choice we make shapes our future, the future of our families and the future of this planet”. That exact quote is what attracted me to this company and their products.

Fresh Organics was born in 2008 after new parents, Jeff & Michele Wilkinson, had the desire to protect their own child and developed a passion to protect all children from a world of deceptive advertising and toxic chemicals. Co-owned by Jeff and Anna Lonsdale, the company operates as a small extended family of parents who all share the same spiritual values as well as a passion for creating a green, eco-positive business.

Fresh Organics is a member of the Organic Trade Association, their products are certified organic by OPCAI and organic certifications standards based on NSF guidelines.

I recently had the opportunity to test out their Pomegranate Fig Hydrating Lotion, Babee Lotion, Baby Conditioning Shampoo & Wash, Calming Bubble Bath and Soothing Bottom Balm.

organic_lotion-7138399The pomegranate fig hydrating lotion is absolutely wonderful! The lotion is fairly thick but rubs on easily and moisturizes the skin quickly! It also smells delightful! I have used it several times a day for the last few weeks because I love the smell so much! I can not seem to keep my hands off the bottle, but my skin has turned oh-so soft! I put the bottle above my kitchen sink, so I can access it easily after doing dishes (which I do several times a day).

The lotion combines the anti-oxidant benefits of organic white tea and pomegranate with rich emollient jojoba and evening primrose oils.

For years I have battled with dry skin and have tried many different lotions, all of which never really relieved my skin of dryness. Since I started using the pomegranate fig hydrating lotion my hands are super soft and even my feet and elbows, which I have never really been able to hydrate with any lotion. During the winter months I have always suffered with very dry skin on my face, feet and elbows.

I have used the pomegranate fig hydrating lotion on my entire body, including my face, with great results! My face feels very silky, my hands nice and soft, and my feet and elbows are no longer scaly and dry!

The pomegranate fig hydrating lotion retails for $8.99 and sold in a 14.2 oz Pump Bottle. (View It here)organic_baby_skincare-9291612

My smaller children also had the opportunity to become product testers and assisted me in using the Fresh Organics, Baby Organic, Babee Lotion, Baby Conditioning Shampoo & Wash, Calming Bubble Bath and Soothing Bottom Balm.

The organic Velvety Soft Babee Lotion is hypoallergenic, contains no nut oils, soy or dairy ingredients, and is free of artificial fragrances and color. It is made with organic aloe vera, shea butter, avocado and jojoba oils, to deeply nourish and shield young, sensitive skin. Many commercial baby lotions are made primarily from petroleum oil and synthetic Glycol. They also often contain some form of SD40 alcohol or Triethanolamine and even sheep Lanolin. The Velvety Soft Babee Lotion does not contain any, making it safe to use daily on baby skin!

I have used the Velvety Soft Babee Lotion daily on my children ages 4 months, 2 years, and 4 years old after bathing. I have always used some type of moisturizer on my kids to keep their skin baby soft, especially in the winter time when skin can easily become chapped and dry. I have enjoyed using the Babee Lotion becausee it does not make their skin oily looking like the previous lotion I was using did.

The Calming Bubble Bath was a favorite among my kids! It took just a small amount to fill the tub up with bubbles! My little ones were in bubble heaven and I was too, because the bubbles kept them entertained for some time. I must admit, I never buy bubble bath, but my little ones sure did enjoy playing in the tub of bubbles!

organic_bottom_balm-8438649The Soothing Bottom Balm was mom’s favorite among the baby products for several reasons! Natural zinc oxide and organic bees wax create a moisture barrier to prevent diaper rash and chafing, while organic chamomile and calendula relieve redness and soothe sensitive skin.

My lil man is rather chunky and has very thick thighs that often become red and irritated. I used the balm in the creases to keep the skin from getting to moist and raw and it worked well. I also used the balm under his arms, where he gets really irritated and it helps heal the skin up and prevented any further irritation. While we did not have a diaper rash that needed to be treated, I am confident it works well after seeing the results of using the soothing bottom balm as an under-the-diaper- irritated skin soother!

The Soothing Bottom Balm is a product I will recommend to other moms who have babies with sensitive skin. Retails $8.99 per tube.

The Certified Organic Conditioning Shampoo & Wash is a tear-free and hypo-allergenic. Made from a special blend of organic oils, soothing emollients and mild cleansers to thoroughly clean and condition. Unlike many children’s shampoo and wash, Organic Baby Conditioning Shampoo & Wash contains no harmful chemicals, such as Parabens or formaldehyde.

The Organic Baby Conditioning Shampoo & Wash did not cause any irritation to my kids skin, was indeed tear-free and cleaned up very well! It also has a gentle freshly cleaned scent that I enjoyed!
