23 new GREENspot e-waste drop-off locations were added in the last month in California, bringing the total to 149 GREENspots statewide. This year alone, 8.3 million pounds of e-waste have been diverted from local landfills by consumers recycling via GREENspot.

What can be recycled at these CA recycle stations?

  • Televisions
  • Computer Monitors
  • Computers (CPUs)
  • Laptops, Keyboards and Printer
  • Hard Drives & PC Boards
  • Fax Machines
  • Microwave Ovens
  • DVD Players & VCRs
  • Cables and Cords
  • Telephones & Cell Phones
  • Radios & Stereo Components

These items are potentially toxic to the environment and by choosing to recycle them, Californians can help divert e-waste from landfills. All GREENspot drop-off locations feed their e-waste to ASL Recycling’s state-approved plants, which use an environmentally friendly e-waste recycling process.
